About Us
The Odd Times is an independent student publication exploring the connections between mathematics and the arts.
Our Mission
Somewhere along the way, math and art stopped talking to each other. Math got the graph paper; art got the glitter. We think that’s a shame, because they’ve been secretly working together for centuries. Painters use geometry, musicians count fractions, and dancers are basically physics with better outfits. The Odd Times is here to catch them in the act, one short, curious piece at a time.
